Power gone? Emergency electrician in Vienna. Base price 149 €.
Right now it is Monday to Friday, 7 to 17. Base price 149 € including the call-out, fault finding and 30 minutes of work, then 45 € per further half hour. You hear the price on the phone before we set off.
Monday to Sunday 7 to 22, outside those hours subject to availability
We do not promise 25 minutes. Usually we are with you within 60 to 90 minutes. We say on the phone when we will be there, and we keep to it. Every time band and price
What you can do until we arrive
Four things you can safely do yourself. Please leave everything else to us.
If you smell burning, see sparks or smoke. switch off the main switch in the fuse box, keep away from the area, and in case of fire call 122 immediately.
The RCD keeps tripping. unplug every appliance and switch the RCD on once. If it trips with nothing plugged in, the fault is in the installation. Do not open anything yourself.
A complete power cut. check whether the neighbours have no power either. If so, Wiener Netze is responsible (fault line 0800 500 600).
Water near electricity. switch off the power for that area, touch nothing until we arrive.
Emergency tariff

How an emergency call works
When the power is gone, the RCD (FI-Schalter) keeps tripping or a socket smells of burning, you need somebody who turns up and bills honestly. We name the price for your time band on the phone, before we set off.
On site we explain what has broken, what the repair costs and what can wait. You decide, we document it.
Price on the phone, confirmed in writing on site, an invoice every time
Fault finding for power cuts, RCD tripping, short circuits and blown fuses
Where necessary we make the installation safe for the night, and plan the repair with you afterwards
Pay by card, bank transfer or cash
Common questions
What counts as an emergency?
Anything that cannot wait for the next ordinary appointment: a complete power cut in the flat, an RCD that will not switch back on, sparks, a burning smell, or sockets and switches that are hot. If you are not sure, call us and we will say honestly whether it is urgent.
What should I do until you arrive?
If you smell burning or see sparks, switch off the main switch in the fuse box and keep away from the area. If an RCD keeps tripping, unplug every appliance and switch it on once. If it trips with nothing plugged in, the fault is in the installation. Do not open anything yourself.
Why does an emergency call cost more than a normal appointment?
Because somebody drops everything and drives out straight away, in the evening and at the weekend too. In exchange the base price is fixed and published, and you know it before we set off.
Do I have to pay cash on the spot?
No. You can pay by debit card, credit card or bank transfer. Cash is fine too. You get an invoice either way.
