Questions from Liesing
Do you come to the Wohnpark Alterlaa as well?
Yes. Inside the flat we work on your instruction, from replacing a socket to the inspection report. The Wohnpark has its own management with its own rules for work on shared installations, and we sort that out before the appointment rather than in the stairwell.
We have a pool pump and a garden supply. Do you do that too?
Yes. Outdoor installations need their own RCD and cabling built for damp. We look at what is there, and bill at the hourly rate where the work is not on the list.
The house is from 1968 and still has no RCD. Is that allowed?
Existing installations may keep running as long as they are safe. As soon as something is renewed, the RCD comes with it, and for bathrooms and outdoor sockets it is the line we do not negotiate over. We measure first and write down what is genuinely needed.
